Key Pledges
Reduce crime
Through education, opportunity and a stronger BVI, to rehabilitate those young people who have found themselves ensnared in crime and to ensure that no more of our youth are lost to crime.
Revitalise the Economy
Create and secure funding for a new, long term infrastructure plan; develop a new, nimble framework for the creation of small and medium sized businesses. A key element being the improvement of government bureaucracy so that our people can create jobs and grow the economy as individuals and as a community.
Secure a sustainable future for our young people
An extensive reform of our child care and education systems to ensure the best possible opportunities for our youth, increase. To increase educational excellence, in-house training and mentorship and establish the BVI Youth Trust to increase the amount of available guidance and after school activity. To give meaning to the phrase ‘our youth are our future’ with the above activities
Mitigate the impact of the climate crisis on BVI
Restore our natural assets, vital to defending us from storms and hurricanes, investigate new green and blue finance opportunities and consider our renewable energy potential.
Prepare the BVI for its future
To implement our new Constitution and prepare the BVI for an autonomous future with financial safety, global and local commerce and a restored international reputation.
